In Europe and other areas Festool has intergraded the vacuum hose and power cord. UL in the states will not allow this so I did my own workaround. I do allot of wiring of Home Theater and computer networks and used Techflex in the past to bundle cables. They have a newer product called Gorilla Sleeve, this utilizes flat filaments to achieve a thick abrasion guard for use on hoses. Which I felt is perfect, I used large shrink wrap on the ends and the 1" 1/4 Gorilla Sleve for the normal hose that comes with the CT22.

This worked out better than I expected. Unlike the Europe model where the cord is inside the hose this is not so you do not loose diameter. Also this stuff slides easy, unlike the old hose with ribs that sounded like a plastic saw blade over the guide this glides ease and the saw moves better on the guide.

One accessory besides the Festool clamps I have found useful is the VERITAS Bench Dogs, these are not made for the MFT and do not fit exact but if you need to hold something high these do work also they are a bit thinner than the Festool clamps so you can hold stuff under the guide rail. I also use them for a limit stop now and then since I can fine tune the distance and the clamp will not move.

I have found a number of uses for the Domino besides Joining one of my favorite is to use it to cut the slots to attach table tops. Set it to 20mm and cut the right depth and thickness. To bad this nice hole/slot is under the table and no one will ever see it.
